theres no place like home...

so im back from kansas...thank god. it was incredibly boring. the plane ride up there was horrible. our first flight was delayed an hour so we missed the layover flight in pheonix by 10 minutes. we tried to get on the next flight out but they overbooked it and only 4 people were willing to take a bump and we needed 5. so we ended up getting stuck in phoenix allll day and didnt get to kansas till 4am. ughhhh. at least they didnt lose our luggage. and at least i wasnt sitting next to a fat lady throwing up the whole time like my brother. for the next 6 days i stayed inside most of the time playing texas hold em' (yes i finally learned how to play!) mostly just to avoid the chiggers, ticks, misquitos and god knows what else was out there. i came out 60 bucks ahead by the end of the week. hooray. ive been home by myself for almost a week now which has been so nice. i now have a great appreciation for those who drive stick shifts. ive had to drive my dads shitty stick shift saturn (without 2nd gear) and ive almost killed myself a couples times. ive gotten better since i learned how to drive it last week, but i still cant go anywhere without stalling it constantly and getting flipped off or honked at. grrr.

friday night was the highlight of the week this far. i had a baskin robbins crew kickback (although it ended up being quite a few more than just the crew...) omg sooo crazy. pretty much everyone (including the designated drivers) got completly wasted so most people crashed at my house for the night. there was barf everywhere. soo nasty. im still thinking of an explanation as to why the trampoline is broken and why theres stains all over the carpet. other than that, no major damage. i love my coworkers so much and im gonna miss them terribly :( the next day at work for all of us was more than horrible. ughh. it wouldve been way too obvious if we all called in sick so we had to stick it through except for pauline who just couldnt do it. haha o well it was a fun night minus the few awkward situations i let myself get into ;)oops. heres some pics although theyre not too crazy since we stopped taking pics before things got wild. i didnt get any leg cuts this time but tons of bruises and cigarette burns instead....
